Based on the recent DC Comics Animated film, we here at IamRetro now have Tamishii Nations' Batman Ninja figures coming in soon! For those who haven't seen the anime Batman film yet
by Junpei Mizusaki and Warner Bros... it's completely INSANE in terms of plot, yet gorgeously artistic in terms of visuals. There's a ridiculous plot involving time-travel to feudal Japan, intense and over-the-top, yet beautifully animated action scenes, samurai-inspired Batman character designs, adorable flute-playing monkeys (yes, you read that right), and other nutty stuff.
These figure designs for Batman and Joker really showcase some of the gorgeous-looking craziness of the flick and looking like they were yanked directly from the screen. Their character designs were done by Takashi Okazaki, the creator of Afro Samurai, and it definitely shows in these dynamic sculpts.
