Initially created via a pallet swap of fellow MK Ninjas Scorpion and Subzero, Reptile made his first appearance in the original Mortal Kombat way back in 1992 as a super hidden, but non-playable, combatant. After gaining immense popularity from fans, creators Ed Boon and John Tobias threw him into Mortal Kombat II in 1993 as a fully playable character and he’s been spitting acid and eating heads ever since.
